Jeff Tarr is the CEO of Solera Holdings, Inc. He joined the company following more than two decades of experience leading data and technology-enabled services companies across multiple sectors.
Tarr has a proven track record of transformational leadership, instilling a purpose-driven culture with a customer-centered approach that drives growth and value for the companies he leads and the customers he serves. Tarr believes in the power of team, and invests in his employees, creating an environment that empowers each individual to do his or her best work.
Prior to joining Solera, Tarr was CEO of the publicly-traded company DigitalGlobe, the world leader in satellite imagery and geospatial intelligence. There he led the company as it launched innovative products employing AI and other new technologies, entered new markets and nearly tripled its revenue.
Prior to DigitalGlobe, Tarr was President & COO of IHS (now IHS Markit), the publicly traded parent of Jane’s Information Group and other industry leading open source information products. He also served as Chairman and CEO of Hoover’s, another publicly traded information company acquired by Dun & Bradstreet in 2003.
Tarr received his bachelor’s degree from Princeton University’s Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs, and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. He serves on numerous corporate and philanthropic boards, including as a member of the board of EchoStar (NASDAQ: SATS), Chairman of the Stanford Graduate School of Business Management Board, Co-Chairman of the World Economic Forum’s Council on the Future of Space Technologies and a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
Jason Brady is the Chief Administrative Officer, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Solera Holdings, Inc. Brady joined Solera as Senior Vice President and General Counsel in December 2007, and he was appointed Corporate Secretary in August 2008 and Chief Administrative Officer in September 2016. As a member of Solera’s executive leadership team, Brady has guided Solera through over 50 mergers and acquisitions, including Solera’s 2016 privatization; financing transactions; commercial, business development, intellectual property, corporate, governance, employment, real estate and dispute resolution matters; internal audits and risk management matters; and more recently, leadership roles with various group operating units.
For eight years, prior to joining Solera, Brady served as legal counsel for software and life sciences companies with increasing levels of responsibility, including general counsel and executive leadership roles. Brady started his career in 1995 as an associate at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, P.C. Brady holds a B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles and a J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law.
